His Life Flowing In And Out Of Me
Father why do I enter in and sometimes even start conversations about those who have deep seated problems? Is there a heart problem, according to Your Word there is for it says I'm speaking out of the abundance of my heart. Yesterday I was praising and blessing You and I meant it with all my heart. And many times I've prayed for these people and I truly wanting to see them change. I'm hearing "do you child?" Lord, help me! If I'm lying to myself about this then help me, either way I need Your help, Your help to do what I can't do. You've helped me with my tongue in so many ways, why not this one? James 3:18-18 says no man can tame the tongue, so I'm asking You to tame mine completely for me. Remove the root in my heart that is causing this behavior to manifest out of my mouth. It's strange, usually I feel very condemned when I've talked, gossiped like that. But the 'feelings' aren't there, the condemnation isn't there either. It's just a knowing that I've sinned against You and Your Word. I even knew last night when I was participating in the conversation. Lord, it's almost like I was rejoicing in their unrighteous ways, that somehow it made me feel superior and able to judge them. God forgive me and help me to love them, truly love them as Your Word tells me to do [I Cor. 13:4-7]. Love has to be an antidote for this mouth disease I have. Is. 57:18-19 says You see my willful ways but [praise God for the buts] You will heal me! It also says You'll create the fruit of my lips and You'll heal me and make my lips blossom anew with speech in thankful praise. What an awesome promise and I'm trusting You to fulfill this in me! Lord, I've prayed many times Ps. 141:3-4, asking you to set a watch before my mouth and keep my heart from evil so I don't partake of others offered sins of the tongue, also that I don't produce any of my own making. Yet in this one area I so lack and fail, why? Heart condition, failing heart? How can I so love You, praising You and it's not fake or just words for I truly love You and want nothing to touch or contaminate this love relationship we have, yet this other come out of my mouth? If you can wash my mouth out with soap then do so and cleanse it and also my heart. If my heart is out of beat with Yours then reset it, shock it back into beating with Your heart. Yesterday as I was looking up 'willful' I never thought it applied to me but I do today. Thank You for Is. 57:18-19, it is now my promise and expectation. My exceedingly great and precious promise from You so I may escape from the rottenness and corruption of my mouth and become a partaker of Your divine nature [II Peter 1:3-4]. That's two promises I can stand on, Is. 57:18-19 and II Peter 1:3-4. My heart and mouth are
Yours!
The Word is what's convicting you. You hid many things in your heart and they remain there hidden until the time I see fit to reveal them to you child. I would not overwhelm you with the totality of it's hidden nature, so in My mercy and grace I reveal as needed to produce My righteousness in you. One layer at a time, one deed at a time revels the truth you've never seen before. As you see child the responsibility shifts to you. What
will you do with this revelation? Two choices child, only two are set before you. Yield to the Truth presented before you, coming into agreement with it and therefore starting the process of healing and cleansing. Or you can refuse to look at and see it as I see it and harden your heart, shoving it back into it's previous hidden place. But once it has been exposed to My light it can never settle there again. It will always arise to the surface and confront you. That's My mercy child, for I truly want you free, walking in the Light of My freedom even as He walked unhindered by darkness and it's control.
Lord as long as darkness of any kind remains in me it can control. That's why my tongue seems to have a mind of it's own at times. It is, in this area, controlled by the works of my flesh and my flesh always serves sin. Yet I can't claim ignorance for You've revealed truth to me and I usually feel the tug of Your Holy Spirit while the thought is yet unspoken. So I willfully go against the tug in order to speak and I regret it shortly thereafter. But I'm trusting Your Word to me [Is. 57:18-19 and II Peter 1:3-4]. They are mine and I call them forth to content with my mouth disease.
Trust Me child, it will be so even as it has been so in may, may areas of your life until now. I will perform My will in your life for you have a heart after Me, that seeks and longs for Me to come and restore all that's needed for My life to flow in and out of you.
'Flow in and out' sounds like the blood in my heart, how it flows in and out creating life in my body. But I like that Your life is going to flow in and out of me, creating Your life in me, my whole life being sustained by Your life. That's Gal. 2:20! Crucify me, my deceitful heart, and resurrect me by Your
power and live this new life through me. I call forth grace, I speak grace, grace to this evil tendency of my mouth and heart [James 4:6 Amp.]
Is. 57:18-19 "I have seen his [willful] ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him also and will recompense him and restore comfort to him and to those who mourn for him. Peace, peace, to him who is far off [both Jew and Gentile] and to him who is near! says the Lord; I create the fruit of his lips, and I will heal him [make his lips blossom anew with speech in thankful praise]."
II Peter 1:3-4 "For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharer (partakers) of the divine nature."
Gal. 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
James 4:6 "But He gives us more and more grace power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it)."
